Once you have strung the first 3 pearls you will now be ready to continue stringing & knotting pearls to the length required. In this tutorial we will show you how to continue to string & knot your pearls. You will finish the project with 3 pearls & this will be shown in part 3.

Pearl Stringing Step 2

Begin by tying an overhand knot after the third pearl as follows

If you don't have a knotting tool then you can knot just as well using a pin or darning needle. When the knot is near to the pearl, place it over the pin (which I have secured in a cork board) & then gently pull the knot until it is sitting next to the pearl. When it is tight pull out the needle

The knot is now sitting neatly next to the pearl. Thread on the next pearl & repeat this process until you have strung your pearls leaving the last 3 to finish off
