Postage costs are calculated on the value of your order and this cost will appear for you upon checkout. All items will be dispatched by First Class surface or Airmail as applicable. Exceptions to this will apply where the weight of the package means that the postage costs are more than those advertised above. In these circumstances, we will notify you of the new cost and then request payment of the extra charge prior to postage. This applies to All customers.
At the checkout you are given the option to upgrade your postage method to Recorded or Special Delivery for UK customers and Signed For or Airsure for International customers.
PLEASE NOTE
If the value of your package is more than £39 (excluding P&P charges) then we strongly recommend that you have this package sent using special delivery as your package will only be insured to a maximum £39 in the event of loss or damage. If you are purchasing Sterling Silver Findings or items of Jewellery from us then we strongly recommend that you have your parcel sent by Special Delivery. Your items are NOT insured by the Royal Mail if you have them sent by First Class or First Class Recorded and you will not be able to claim from the Royal Mail for any loss or damage incurred in transit using Royal Mail. Caron Nosek Ltd is also not liable for the replacement or refund of any lost or damaged goods where proof of postage exists nor is Caron Nosek Ltd responsible for sterling silver products or jewellery or when the package exceeds £39 where the customer has chosen NOT to insure the package using the Royal Mail Special Delivery option which we recommend.
1st Class & 1st Class Recorded Delivery
- Compensation for loss or damage of your package only up to £39, (except for jewellery,precious stones &/or metals including sterling silver products which are not insured at all unless sent using special delivery which you must choose and which we recommend if you wish to have these items insured against loss or damage).
- Next working day for most First Class Recorded items, although this is not guaranteed as per the information on the Royal Mail website.
- Signature taken at destination for Recorded Delivery items
Special Delivery
- Compensation for loss or damage of your package up to £500 or more if applicable (the appropriate additional charge will apply and be required to be paid prior to dispatch should the package be valued at more than £500).
- Guaranteed next day delivery before 1.00pm (excluding weekends)
- Signature taken at destination
International Signed For
- Compensation for loss or damage of your package up to £39 (or £500 as required)
- Tracked until package leaves UK, delivery is then reliant on local postal service
- Signature taken at destination
International Airsure
- Compensation for loss or damage of your package up to £500
- Priority handling both in UK and abroad.
